OUR MISSION

Our mission is to present Chinese American stories of all kinds, epic or small, to keep record, to bring truth and awareness to our history, experiences, and contributions in America. We are deeply committed to racial justice and equality and elevating underserved communities and giving voice to them through storytelling. We are in solidarity with all other communities in building peace and connections between all people.

Asian Americans, like many our underserved communities, have had relatively few opportunities to tell our stories due to inequities in funding and cultural support. Much of our history, struggles, and contributions to America have been neglected and lost, many times even to our own communities. We hope with our continuous efforts and support from all sides, we can present the stories we gather from our older generations and family memories, as well as record our new stories as we move forward and build a better future.
